At the risk of sounding cringey, every brand begins with a vision. Your manifesto is what informs your brand direction and guides your strategic decisions. In essence, it highlights why your brand is necessary for the audience. When writing a manifesto, it is vital for brands to engage the audience. So how do you do that?

1. Be Purposeful

Identify what your brand wants to change. Typically, this is about society and challenging the status quo a.k.a the 'big picture.' How do you plan to change how we think, see, consume and experience the norm?

2. Be Emotional

People are moved by emotions, its a powerful driving factor that enables people to relate to your brand. One way is to address the audience's pain points as problems the brand solves.

3. Be Inspiring

Your manifesto should inspire others to engage with your brand on a deeper leve. This part is about being active and identifying practical steps to live out the truth of the manifesto. A manifestor reflects the beliefs and goals of a brand. What brand manfestos resonate with you?
